Two years after the grant ofthe first Google Award,
we are pleased to present several new results:


  1. A new version of RETRO 2012:

  4. A web platform, build as proof of concept, for Online Exploration and Collaborative Annotations of Historical Documents:

Michel Bénard, University RelationsManager at Google, visited us yesterday to oversee the project and itsprogress.

Therefore, a day of presentation hasbeen organized with the CESR, to present the current projects of LI and CESR,regarding Google Awards, and their progress.

Digital Humanities 2011

Nicolas Sidère, representative of LI Tours, attended the Digital Humanities2011 Conference in Palo Alto (https://dh2011.stanford.edu/)

During this conference, he presented a poster to the community of DigitalHumanities where image oriented project aren’t usual and exlpained the projectto Google representative (Jon Orwant, Leslie Yeh Johnson, and Will Brockman).

Marie-Luce Desmonet, from CESR, also attended this conference.

The RFAI team has decided to use the Google Award to hire a new member for the PaRADIIT Project. Therefore, RAYAR Frédéric, a R&D Engineer, has been hired for one year, stating March 2011, 11st.
